Starting out her career as a Department Manager at Walmart in Quesnel BC, Crystal eventually transferred to Prince George as their District Assistant of the Northern BC/AB Region, a role which made her responsible for 9 separate stores. Over her tenure as District Assistant, Crystal developed experience that she continues to use to this day, including budgeting, management recruiting, hiring, and overseeing inventory management.

The next step in Crystal’s career path took her from being an Office Manager of a Doman Building Material Treating Facility to becoming the first female Plant Manager in the organization. As a plant manger, Crystal managed over 30 employees alongside two tubes for MCA and CCA Treatment on lumber and a production line for incising and planing. Additionally, she planned the production needs of customers, shipped to those customers, and managed inventory for them, which added up to a total of 26 million board feet per year.

Crystal is always willing to learn and support our team with a positive attitude, and it shows in her interactions with every PRD employee. She has proved her incredible dedication the team since starting work with us in November 2024, and we are very lucky to have her.

In her free time, Crystal enjoys camping, gardening, and cooking along with plenty of family time that includes her two grandsons.
