PRD Construction is proud to have been selected to build the new Interpretive Centre at the Ancient Forest, a unique facility designed to enhance the visitor experience while respecting the natural beauty of the site. This 10-month, $5.7 million project features a striking timber frame structure built with natural cedar logs, exposed architectural elements, and high-performance building systems. The scope includes full site preparation, concrete foundations, a custom log-framed superstructure, modern mechanical and electrical systems, and high-quality interior and exterior finishes. Once complete, the centre will serve as an educational and cultural hub for one of British Columbia’s most significant ecological sites.
